Exactly. The old "money back guarantee" is never as straight forward as it seems. Scientology offers a similar refund policy, and can you tell me of ONE SINGLE ex-member who's recovered a single dime? People spend up to $1,500,000 to become "OT" and there is not one instance of anyone getting any money back after the brainwashing wears off. Money-back guarantees are never really money-back guarantees, they are just another selling point to dissipate any "buyer's resistance".

I'd bet that a good 30% ask for their money back and over half want to. However, the company has YOUR money. At first they brush them aside and dont return their phone calls or emails. Then, if the customer stays persistent, they offer discounts or free products. After that, they just flat out refuse
Who are you, Big Boss? And who the fuck is Dr Clark???

After taking bootcamp with love systems, one guy wanted to get a refund. Mr M talked him out.. And the guy got a free seminar (part of the bootcamp), the infield session is excluded. There is no money back guarantee.

The coaches that work for these companies are glorified salesman............they will always try to talk a student out of trying to get a refund.........because the coach's commission is in that student's fee.........just like a car salesman will not want you to return a car.........his commission is at stake............

yes he's right, a student is basically admitting failure and that his dreams are shattered by asking for a refund.
they are also afraid to be disliked by the instructors from now on (in the forums etc.)
also students tend to idolize the gurus and therefore blame themselves for every failure, no matter how obvious the lameness of the guru is.
basically it's the studnets' problem though. the gurus cringe when they see an assertive student, they go hide in the corner shaking, because they know he can easily call them out and even ruin their business if he puts his mind to it.
so they'll likely fork over the refund plus interest, in a heartbeat, if the student only shows that he's going to insist and spread bad rap about them.
it's all about money and an upset student can cost them a lot more than a refund.
